We receive and publish with pleasure this message from a young scholar.

Lorenzo Sardone (lorenzosardone@hotmail.it)

My name is Lorenzo Sardone, and I am a Ph.D. student at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. My research aims to republish all the papyri that contain passages from De Corona, the most famous Demosthenes’ speech. At the same time, I would like to study the circulation of the Demosthenic corpus in Greek and Roman Antiquity. Surely, an important source of information could be Cicero. In fact, it seems fundamental to understand which was the Demosthenes’ text that Cicero read and used. So, I wonder if there are studies about this subject or in general about the relation between Demosthenes and Cicero. Lorenzo Sardone (lorenzosardone@hotmail.it)
